5 food Instagram accounts to follow in 2014

There’s no doubt about it. I love food. I also love how my food is presented, so much I will even take a photo of it (yep we all do it. Its the norm now) just so I can tease my friends on Facebook, Google+ and Twitter.

It seems, we’re all food photographers these days. So I decided to come up with my top 5 instagram foodies for you all to follow and get inspired. But more importantly this is for you to get your mouth watering. Prepare yourselves for some major food porn.

@Sonyayu – Sonya Yu describes herself a “professional food pornographer”, which sounds about right (though she also, less enticingly, warns her feed may make you “hangry”). She shares colourful, creative photographs of her food and her dog, and sometimes – if you’re lucky – both at the same time. (Source: telegraph)

@Sliceofpai – Vancouver-based Joanna Pai was stirred to become a food stylist and photographer after a trip to Paris. Expect lush travel photography and enough pictures of coffee to make her GP concerned. (Source: telegraph)

@Cannellevanille – Aran Goyoaga Foodie photographer from Seattle. Her work is second to none. I’m amazed she finds the time. Expect Cannelle Et Vanille, her baby, everything sweet that comes out of her heart, the smells and tastes of her childhood and this account is very much filled with nostalgia.

@Jamieoliver – Hmm, a lot of thought went into whether or not Jamie should be on the list but his account is pretty good. Expect Jamie and lots of lush, pucker grub!

@Timmelideo – This is kind of cheating because Tim Melideo doesn’t have a food-only Instagram. Instead he has an Instagram that features photos of (mostly vegan) food he eats, along with images of what he wore that day, his wife, their travels, and the weddings that they shoot together. However, the photos of his food (tagged #timsfood) are always delicious looking, making it totally worth a follow. Even if its mostly veggie!

All that has made me hungry. Who’s up for a snappy lunch?
